About Me The most important thing about me is my belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with Thomas Monson as the current Prophet of God. I am a woman, a mother, a grandmother, an artist, a writer, a procrastinator, a dreamer. I seldom live up the the ideals I set for myself, but when I do it is a very joyful thing for me. I love to work on various projects where my ingenuity can be exercised. I am very good at setting up systems and not much good at maintaining them. For example, I have created storage for my various possessions and supplies, but when I let my guard down things tend to be left out of order. My chief downfall is sloth. I have thought of myself as a fairly lazy person since my early childhood, but I have accomplished quite a lot and usually live up to or excel expectations and deadlines set by others. I savor solitude, but intrinsic to my belief system is the idea that I am never truly alone. I am also happy when surrounded by a crowd or a group of friends or relatives. I don't mind being asked to take the lead, and I am happy to work with competent leadership. I do not enjoy working with people who are overbearing or mentally disorganized thus making me wait around or work at useless or contradictory tasks. My belief in LDS doctrine impels me to believe that we have an eternal, uncreated essence which manifests itself in spite of environmental or hereditary influences, although organic illness can affect behavior and mask the true nature of a personality. Although our natures are intrinsic I believe we have the ability, in fact the expectation that we can discipline and enhance the personality we have to accomplish greater things. This is because we truly have free will. One of my favorite virtues is gratitude. It sweetens life.
